Amadys expanding reach in DACH region by acquiring German company Muth Kommunikationstechnik GmbH

End-to-end system integrator Amadys is acquiring Muth Kommunikationstechnik GmbH, a leading supplier of passive products for telecom and datacom networks in Germany. The acquisition is an important step in further increasing Amadys’ reach in the DACH region.

Muth Kommunikationstechnik GmbH – based in Kabelsketal near Leipzig – is a specialist wholesaler for electrical and communication technology offering data and network technology in the copper and fiber optic area for LAN and WAN networks. The company was founded in 1991 with main activities in the distribution of antenna technology for satellite and broadband cable systems and added data and network technology products to its offer as from 2001.

Muth offers its customers a broad product portfolio from several well-known manufacturers. Of particular importance is the cooperation with CommScope, for which Muth is the German logistics partner  in the field of the FIST system.

With more than 1900 m² of storage space, Muth ensures a high delivery capability and fast delivery times. Together with Muth’s extensive product expertise, it has become a well-known and reliable partner for their customers.

Muth Kommunikationstechnik will continue to be managed by Managing Director Lutz Muth together with the newly appointed Managing Director Manuel Laibl. “We are very pleased to become part of the Amadys family”, says Manuel Laibl. “We will be able to broaden our product and service portfolio and increase our ability to act as a one-stop-shop provider for our business partners.”
